There are 26 of us in the class. We are a friendly class but sometimes can be a little too chatty! We love being in 3M. It is fun, exciting and colourful!
Our teacher is Mrs Morris. She has taught in the school for many years. Mrs Morris is in charge of Music in the Juniors and plays the piano for us in assemblies. She is very nice and polite. Mrs Morris helps us with our work.
“I believe that for children to reach their full potential they need to be challenged with stimulating, progressive learning opportunities. They need to be encouraged to take ownership of their learning. It is important for children to be given the opportunity to understand how they learn and to be able to assess their own learning. I aim to provide a warm, safe and secure environment where the children’s achievements are celebrated” – Mrs Morris.
Every morning we have English and Maths. This term we have written our own fairy tales and recounts. It was fun telling others our stories before we had to write them. In maths the work is a little bit harder but the games and activities we do help us. We love solving problems.
We use ICT a lot. We use the internet to help us find information and play games linked to our learning.
In Science we have been learning about electricity. It’s fun. We had to try and make a bulb light up and use that to make a fairy tale character’s eyes light up.
Our PE days are Wednesday and Friday.

We have class targets. This term we agreed to try and improve the presentation of our work. We are also trying to learn our times tables.
We are rewarded for all the hard work we do and our good behaviour. There is Secret Student. No one knows who it is until the end of the day. Mrs Morris only tells us who it was if the Secret Student has been brilliant. They earn house points and get to choose from the lucky dip bag. Another system is ‘Top Table’.
This reward moves from table to table. We have to try and keep the award on the table. The table that has the award at 2.30pm on a Friday get to choose from the lucky dip bag too.We also earn house points.s
